Wood-fired pizza is all about the OVEN.
The pompeii oven was designed thousands of years ago and is still a marvel today. The oven shape and materials are perfect for quick baking. The wood fire heats the oven to over 800 degrees which allows the pizza to cook in about 90 seconds. The bottom is cooked by the heat in the stone floor and the top is cooked by the heat circulating across the dome. Taste the difference of a wood-fired oven.
